Ecomond Oy is committed to protecting the privacy of its users and to complying with applicable data protection regulations, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This document describes how the website and the Android application process user data, as well as the rights users have regarding their data.

1. Website Privacy Practices

1.1 Data Collected

The website does not actively collect personal data from users, aside from technical data necessary to ensure functionality and for analytics purposes.

1.1.1 Data Provided by the User

Users may choose to provide information only if they fill out a contact form on the website. The collected information can include:

• First and last name
• Email address
• Phone number
• A message or other free-form feedback

This data is used solely to respond to the user’s inquiry and is not stored long-term.

1.1.2 Automatically Collected Data

When a user visits the website, the system automatically collects the following technical information:

This information is used solely for ensuring the website’s functionality and for analytics, and is not linked to any individual user.

2. Android Application Privacy Practices

2.1 Users and Responsibilities

The Android application is provided to companies that use it for their own customers and users. These companies are responsible for their own data protection practices and enter into relevant agreements directly with their users. Ecomond Oy does not manage personal data of individual users.

2.2 Data Collected and Permissions

The Android application may request permission to use the following features:

• GPS and location tracking: The app may request permission to use the device’s GPS data.
• Photo storage: The app may request permission to use the device’s camera to take photos. The photos taken are stored in the system.
• User ID: A user ID may be stored in the system together with the photos, but no other personal data is stored.

Users can control these permissions in their device settings.

2.3 Data Retention

Data stored by the Android application is retained for 30 days, after which it is automatically deleted.

Data stored on the server is retained for the period required by relevant accounting regulations, after which it is removed.

2.4 Data Management and Deletion Requests

If a user wishes to review, modify, or delete their data, they must first contact the company that provides the application. The company is responsible for the data protection practices and manages user requests according to their agreement.

Ecomond Oy cannot directly process individual data deletion requests from users; such requests must be directed to the company that provides the application.

3. User Rights

Users have the following rights regarding their personal data:

• Right of access – You can request a copy of any data stored about you from the company providing the application.
• Right to rectification – You can request correction of any inaccurate data from the company that provides the application.
• Right to erasure – You can request deletion of your data by contacting the company that provides the application.
